How I treat my acne? :D

My very first blog post :DDD Teehee~

Hahaha! Hello everyone~~ :D so today I'm going to talk about how I treated my acne, I'm not saying that my skin is completely cleared up, I still get breakouts occasionally. Well, puberty "hit" me whenever I was around 15 and my hormones literally went crazy. I started having breakouts around my face, especially on my cheeks. My self-esteem went down to ZERO!

I've tried so many products back then like Garnier, Clean & Clear, Simple, Biotherm and many more! And none of them worked. :/ I was really depressed and I thought I would never be able to find the product that will actually work for my skin. I have quite an oily skin but not to an extend that it'll make my face go *bling bling*. Oily skin can be a struggle.  :/  * Bruhh~ I feel you~ * Oily skin can leads to clogged pores and can sometime be quite a pain in the a$$.

Last year, my sister bought me a Biotherm Purefect skin range sampling kit. The price is around RM110++. Kinda pricey but definitely worth trying.

Here's some photo.

I'd use this as my skincare routine last year. At the first month, I actually did notice that my skin is starting to clear up and I don't breakouts as often. But at the very end of the product, the effect seems to starting to fade. So once I'd finished the product, I immediately purchased another one because I am really happy with the results and it is actually the first product that had ever actually work for my skin. But however, the products seems to not work anymore :( Thick skin problem. Haha! But biotherm purefect skin is definitely worth a try! It's a decent product and I say everyone has a different skin type, so it'll take quite some time to actually find the perfect product for your skin.

So...just a few months ago...I literally stumbled upon this product - Asepso. That day, I went to Tesco with my boyfriend, Douglas to buy groceries. And we were passing by the health and beauty section, and something caught my eyes. A box with striking yellow colour with a black banner writing "Asepso". I reached out my hand and took one of the boxes, and the description reads - " Acne Care. With Sulphur and Salicylic Acid for Acne Prone Skin. " I've read an article before about how sulphur and salicylic acid has help to treat acne but I had never tried before. The price of the soap is actually quite cheap, it cost me around RM5.50 and I was like why not? It wouldn't hurt for me to try, right? And you know what, it was the best decision I'd ever made T.T ~ I'm going to explain in further details below.

It has the word "Asepso" carved onto the surface of the soap.

Ingredients : Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water,  Fragrance, Sulfur, Paraffinum Liquidum, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Titanium Dioxide, Salicylic acid, Etidronic acid.

And some information I got from the website about sulphur and salicylic acid.

Salicylic acid. On the skin, salicylic acid helps to correct the abnormal shedding of cells. For milder acne, salicylic acid helps unclog pores to resolve and prevent lesions. It does not have any effect on sebum production and does not kill bacteria. It must be used continuously, just like benzoyl peroxide, because its effects stop when you stop using it -- pores clog up again and the acne returns. Salicylic acid is available in many acne products, including lotions, creams, and pads.

Sulfur. In combination with other substances such as alcohol and salicylic acid, sulfur is a component of many over-the-counter acne medication. It usually isn't used by itself because of its unpleasant odor. It's unclear how sulfur works, but it has only a marginal benefit in most cases. ( Ahahahah!!! Even webmd.com can't explain the wonders of sulphur did to my skin XDD )

Sooo.....I was really happy that I made the right choice. I went back home and I was really excited to try on the soap. And guess what, miracles happen. I used to have lots of lots of lots of LOTS OF red marks all covered on my right cheeks ( I don't know why :/ ), and immediately once I rinse off the soap, I can actually see a difference on my skin. My skin looks brighter and the red marks I mentioned had actually fade away, like A LOT! It really did surprised me and I got so excited that I shrieked XD I was really really REALLLYYY happy with the results and I continued to use only the soap as my skincare routine and moisturiser like aloe vera gel from Always 21. It's the only moisturiser that does not breaks me out. :P

The gel's texture is smooth and easy to absorb and it leaves a cooling effect once it had completely absorbed into your skin. And I really love the smell. :DD Other than your face, you can actually apply it on your other body parts and even HAIR! No kidding. :P

So basically, I've been using Asepso for 3 months right now and I had to say that I am really satisfied with the results. I don't breakouts that often anymore. Clogged pores has reduce. And some old acne marks are starting to fade away, thanks to the aloe vera's healing properties. I definitely recommend Asepso to people who have mild acne problem like me. It works for me and I hope it works for you too!

And finally, I'm ending this blog post with a selfie! ^_^ Feel free to ask me anything  :)

my skin looks so flawless here *.* all thanks to perfect lighting and filters! ahahahah!
